Updates to Mazévo Messaging

With this update, there are several changes to Mazévo's messaging functions. Many of these changes are behind the scenes, but they are laying the foundation for additional messaging capabilities down the road. However, here are some highlights that you will see.

New Bell (Alert) Icon. Event planners are now alerted to new messages in real-time through the new bell icon at the top of every page. Previously they would have had to visit the Day At A Glance page to check for new messages.

Event planners can now send messages to other event planners through Mazévo. Previously event planners could only send messages to requesters. 

Requesters can now send messages from the web. This capability was previously limited to those using the Mazévo mobile ap. 

Event Planners can now send messages from Find Events and the Event Book. 


What Else Has Changed

Automatically assign security policies to users through SSO. If you are using SSO (Single Sign-On) with Mazévo, you can now automatically assign a security policy to new users the first time they access Mazévo. 

New filter by role option for Mazévo user accounts Want to see a list of all event planners? How about a list of all your Mazévo ops users? You can now filter your list of users by role for quick identification. 


What's Fixed

This update squashes several bugs, including an error when sending confirmations to specific bookings. In some cases, the link to the confirmation would not be sent correctly.
