Final Exam Patterns: What They Are and How They Are Used
Once defined, final exam patterns can help expedite assigning the final date and time for all courses that match one of the pattern dates.
Adding Final Exam Patterns
1) Navigate to Academics > Terms.
2) Click Final Exam Patterns.
3) Click Add Pattern and select a Term in the dropdown. Mazevo will display all the unique Day of Week and Start Times combinations for the entire term.
4) Use the checkboxes to select one or more rows and click Next.
5) Select the First or Second Week and the Day of the Week from the dropdown.
6) Enter the Start and End times for the final exam. Press Add.
The final exam patterns are not specific to a term.
To remove a pattern, click on the trash can icon.
Applying Patterns to a Term
Once Final Exam Patterns have been defined:

Navigate to Terms

Select the Final Exams for the term you want to process finals.

Click Apply Patterns.
Applying patterns will assign the predefined day of the week and the start and end time of the final for all courses that match a pattern.
