How to Assign Work in Manage Operations

In Mazévo Operations, you can assign the setup and delivery of resources to one or more members of your staff.

Overview

You can choose to assign your staff members to complete the setup or delivery of each service. Once the work has been assigned, your staff members can filter the work list to items assigned specifically to them.  

The assignment process is optional, as some Mazévo installations prefer that workers manage their own work assignments.

Selecting your staff members

On the Manage Operations screen (Operations > Manage Operations):

1. Click on Settings.

2. On the My Staff tab, select the workers on your team. The names that appear on this list have the Service Worker security role. 

3. Press Save.

Assigning staff to services (Method #1 - by Booking).

1. Navigate to Operations > Manage Operations > Bookings tab.

2. Select the appropriate date from the date navigation tools.

3. Optionally, you can just check Only show my service providers to limit the bookings to those with services you've filtered for. If unchecked, all bookings for the select date will be displayed.

4. Click on the Event Name to edit the work assignment for a booking.

5. Locate the service that needs assignment, click on Assign Staff, and select the workers to assign. You can assign more than one service for this booking while editing it. Simply select another service and click Assign Staff. Assigning staff from the bookings tab in operations

6. Press Close to return to the list of bookings.

Assigning staff to services (Method #2 - by Service).

1. Navigate to Operations > Manage Operations > Services tab. This grid displays a row for each service on each booking.  

2. Select the appropriate date from the date navigation tools.

3. Optionally, you can just check Only show my service providers to limit the bookings to those with services you've filtered for. If unchecked, all bookings for the select date will be displayed.

4. From this grid, use the selection checkboxes on the left to select one or more services, and then, from the popup menu, click Assign Staff to select the worker(s) for the selected services. Assigning staff from the service tab of manange operations

Assigning staff to work items.

1. Navigate to Operations > Manage Operations > Work Items tab.

2. Select the appropriate date from the date navigation tools.

3. Click on the Service Provider to edit the work assignment.

5. Click on Assign Staff and select the workers to assign.

6. Press Save to close the assignment popup and press Save to save the work item.
