How to Use the Academic Availability Checker

Mazevo has a dedicated tool to find available space for an academic course.   The tool, located in Find Courses and the Academic Book,  allows the user to find available rooms that match a date pattern.

Launching the Availability Checker

The Availability Checker is available in the following locations:

  1. Find Courses - In the main filtering panel (where you select the term)

  2. Find Courses - At the top of the course grid
  3. Academic Book - After selecting a term

Using the Availability Checker

  1. Select a Term.

  2. Select Building(s) or Room Tag(s).

  3. Adjust the starting and ending dates. These dates default to the dates entered on the Term.

  4. Select the Days of the Week.

  5. Enter the start and end times for the availability check.

  6. Enter Setup and Teardown time, if necessary, by checking the Specify SetupTime checkbox and entering setup and teardown times in hours or minutes.  This will override the room's default setup/teardown times.
  7. Enter Attendance.  This limits the rooms that can hold this number of students.

  8. Press Search.

After pressing search, the results are displayed in two tabs, available rooms and unavailable room:
