Mazévo on mobile devices is changing. You no longer need to download an app from the app store to use Mazévo on your mobile device. Instead, you will use your device's web browser to access Mazévo.
Updated 11/09/2023 You can now access Mazévo on your phone or tablet's web browser by going to mymazevo.com. Below are some frequently asked questions about this change.
Why is this changing?
This allows us to update and enhance Mazévo for mobile devices more quickly.
Can I still do everything I currently do in the native app on my phone's browser?
Yes. All the functions you use today are still included when using your device's web browser. In addition, the screen layouts are more streamlined.
Are there additional Mazévo features available when accessing from the browser?
Yes. If you are a Mazévo user that has other roles beyond a requester or operations (Event Planner, Global Administrator, Etc.) you can now access those functions from your phone as well. Note that configuration functions are still only available from a tablet or desktop browser.
What browser can I use on my phone to access Mazévo?
Any modern web browser will work fine with Mazévo - Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox are recommended.
My organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO) for Mazévo. Will that work with the web browser?
Yes
When will this change take effect?
The native Mazévo mobile app will be sunset at the end of 2023. The app will no longer be functional as of January 1, 2024.
What do I need to do going forward?
- Start using Mazévo from your phone's browser today and enjoy the better experience.
- Bookmark Mazévo in your phone's browser or add it to your home screen. See below for details.
- Make sure others in your organization are aware of this change.
Can I use Face ID / Touch ID from my phone to log in to Mazévo?
Not currently. But we are exploring options.
Can I still save a shortcut to Mazévo on my phone's home screen?
Yes! This can be done from the Safari Browser on iPhone and Chrome on Android. Mazévo will work from any browser on your phone, but you must use one of these browsers to save a shortcut to Mazévo on your phone's home screen.
