Overview of Analytics

This article will provide an overview of the Analytics function.

Analytics allows a user to quickly find summary information and statistics in the system.  Here are some examples of data you summarize with Analytics:

  • What are the top 5 rooms used last month, based upon attendance?
  • What are the top 10 rooms used last month, based upon hours of use, for building #1?
  • What is the total number of events held last year by event type, for all buildings?

First, select what you want to analyze. Here are the options:

  • Busy time of the day
  • Busiest day of the week
  • Rooms
  • Rooms Types
  • Event Types
  • Organizations
  • Organization Types
  • Users
  • Service Providers
  • Resources

Once you have selected what you analyzing, you’ll then select the type of analysis, via the ‘Display’ selection.  The following is a list of results the system can return

  • Number of Events
  • Attendance
  • Hours of use
  • Revenue

The remaining options allow you to limit what data will be analyzed by limiting the analysis by:

  • Date Range
  • Time of Day
  • Day of Week
  • Buildings
  • Statuses
  • Service Providers
  • Top  (show the Top 5, 10 or all results

After selecting these options, press ‘Analyze’ and the data will be displayed in graph.  The summarized ‘raw’ data is also available to view and export.
