How to Delete an Event

In Mazévo, events are never really deleted. Instead, you cancel all of the bookings leaving the event and booking data available for reporting.


In Mazévo, you don't actually delete events or bookings. Instead, you change their status to one with a status type of Cancelled. That way the system retains them if needed for reporting purposes or for a situation where a customer changes their mind and decides they need the space and resources after all. 

If that occurs, you can save time by simply changing the status to one that has a status type of Booked. However, if by then the original space has been reserved for another event, you can move the cancelled bookings to an available room and make them confirmed.
