We’re excited to share the latest updates to Mazévo! This release brings new features, refinements, and fixes designed to make your scheduling work more efficient and reliable. Here’s what’s new:
New Security Policy Option: Organization Not Required
Mazévo will no longer prompt for an organization if a requester’s contact record has no organizations associated with it. This is especially helpful when new user accounts are automatically created via SSO.
Previously, if no organization was tied to the contact and there were no requestable organizations in the account, the user could not submit a request until an administrator intervened.
Why it matters:
Now, users who log into Mazévo for the first time through SSO can immediately make requests without being tied to an organization. An organization can be assigned later when an event planner processes their initial request. This streamlines onboarding and reduces friction for your new requesters.
View All Room Pricing Options
Event planners can now see every pricing option defined for a room directly from the Add New Event screen or the Event Book. This view is only available to planners who have permission to book the space. View-only planners will not see pricing details.
Previously, the only way to check other pricing methods was to change the pricing method on the event itself or dig into system configuration.
Why it matters:
This update makes it faster and easier to select the right pricing for an event without leaving your workflow. You’ll save time and reduce the risk of errors when quoting costs to your customers.
Event Coordinator Initials on Service Order Reports
Printed service order reports now include the initials of the event coordinator.
Why it matters:
Service providers and staff can immediately see who is responsible for the event without needing to check the system. This small but valuable change improves communication and accountability in day-to-day operations.
Performance Improvements
We’ve made behind-the-scenes enhancements to Mazévo to keep things running smoothly. You’ll experience quicker responses when moving between screens and tasks, helping you get work done with fewer delays.
Bugs Fixed
- Manage Tasks was not displaying today’s tasks correctly unless you typed in today’s date. This has been corrected.
- Approving an event was not generating scheduled emails as expected.
- Custom logos that were 300 x 300 pixels or smaller were not displaying properly.
- Find Events (Advanced Mode) was not always exporting time values correctly to Excel.
- Room setup style notes: In some cases, Mazévo copied the default setup description to booking notes. This has been fixed.
- Request submissions could be completed without an expected attendance value. This is no longer allowed.
- Event questions in the event editor are now sorted alphanumerically.
