New Features

Streamlined task editing
When editing a task, you can now update the responsible user or users at the same time as the date or notes. Previously this required a second step, which made quick task updates more cumbersome.

Resource package sorting
You can now control the sort order of resources within a package. This gives you more flexibility in how resources are presented and helps ensure packages appear in a logical, intentional order.

Search for contacts when sending confirmations or invoices
When sending a confirmation or invoice, you can now search for a contact instead of manually selecting one. This makes it faster and easier to send information to the right person.

Improved cross-listing and conflict logic for course imports
We’ve updated how Mazévo handles cross-listed courses and conflicts during course imports.

Previously, if two courses met on the same days and times in the same room but had different instructors, Mazévo assumed this was a conflict created in the SIS and flagged it accordingly. For many customers, this was too restrictive.

Now, if courses share the same meeting days, times, and location, Mazévo assumes the setup is intentional and imports them as a cross-list rather than a conflict, even if the instructors are different. This change should significantly reduce unnecessary conflict flags for some institutions.

New Login Message for First-Time Users

We’ve added a new message to the login page to help first-time users better understand how access to Mazévo works. This message provides guidance for users who may be unsure which email address to use or how their account is created.

Accessibility Updates

This release also includes additional accessibility improvements aimed at making Mazévo more usable for people with physical differences and improves compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards.

Bugs Fixed

  • Find Events now correctly displays all event questions when more than 50 are defined
  • Secondary contacts can no longer copy events in My Requests (this is now limited to the primary contact, as intended)
  • Changing a booking status in the event book no longer prompts for a cancellation reason when the booking is not being canceled
  • Event question answers are now reliably saved during request submission
  • Service notes are now correctly displayed on the service order report

As always, thank you for your feedback and for helping guide ongoing improvements to Mazévo.
