We’re excited to share the latest updates in Mazévo! This release brings powerful new tools, usability improvements, and fixes that make scheduling and managing events even smoother. Here’s a look at what’s new and why it matters.
Upload Images to Resources
You can now attach one or multiple images to resources. When requesters or event planners reserve items such as equipment, catering, or furniture, they’ll see exactly what they’re selecting.
Why it matters: Visuals reduce confusion and ensure everyone knows what’s being requested—leading to fewer mistakes and misunderstandings.
Merge Contact Utility
Mazévo Global Administrators can now merge contacts with a single action. All events tied to the source contact are moved to the destination contact, and any associated organizations are transferred as well.
Why it matters: No more duplicate contacts or scattered histories. This keeps your database clean and ensures everyone is working with the right information.
Enhanced Informational Booking Pop-Up
The booking details pop-up has been upgraded. It now highlights any changes made within the last 14 days and displays audit information, including who made the change and when.
Why it matters: View-only users and others gain visibility into recent booking updates, reducing confusion and making it easier to track changes.
Analytics Dashboard Enhancements
You can now rename charts with descriptive titles and add the same chart multiple times with different filters. For example, you might display booking volume for Building A and Building B side-by-side.
Why it matters: This flexibility helps you compare trends more easily and build dashboards tailored to your exact needs.
Improved Tenant Switcher
The quick tenant switcher now asks, “Where would you like to request/reserve space?” instead of “Select Organization.”
Why it matters: Clearer wording makes it easier for casual users to know where to start, reducing mistakes when selecting the right tenant.
View Rooms Across Multiple Buildings
Requesters can now view rooms from multiple buildings simultaneously in the event book. Previously, you could only view one building at a time.
Why it matters: Checking availability across several buildings on one screen saves time and makes scheduling far easier.
Custom Branding Icon on Mobile Vanity URLs
Customers using the branding module will now see their custom icon displayed on their vanity URL instead of the Mazévo icon when they are using a mobile device.
Why it matters: A small detail that enhances professionalism and reinforces your brand identity at every touchpoint.
In-Progress History Tracking
When event planners remove the “in progress” indicator from an incomplete request, Mazévo now records this history.
Why it matters: Provides a clear audit trail and eliminates confusion about why an incomplete request was submitted.
Expanded Messaging Area
When sending a confirmation or invoice, you can now expand the text box for your message.
Why it matters: Longer emails are easier to draft and review without feeling cramped.
Customer Access Time for Room Charges
Room usage charges can now be calculated based on customer access time, not just event time. Contact Mazévo Support to enable this setting for your account.
Why it matters: This option provides the flexibility to bill for the customer's total time spent using the space, if that is how your organization operates.
Hide Billing Code on Service Orders
You can now hide billing codes from service order reports if they’re not relevant to your workflow. Contact Mazévo Support if you wish to remove the billing code from your service orders.
Why it matters: We recently introduced the ability to display billing codes on the service order report. It turns out that this doesn't work well for all customers. Let us know if you need the billing code hidden on these reports again.
Fixes and Improvements
We’ve also addressed several issues to improve performance and reliability:
- Setup and teardown time is now retained if a meeting is extended from the Mazévo room sign.
- Activity log performance is improved for large datasets.
- Event questions with multi-select answer types now work properly.
- Confirmation emails are now sent correctly in all cases.
- Find Events - Only the view owners can now manage subscriptions to a saved view.
- The “copy link” option in a Find Event View now works for view-only planners and report viewers.
- Requesters will no longer get stuck when they select dates outside their permitted timeframe.
- The Security Policy Manage Single Sign-On page now displays buttons correctly when there are many attributes.
- Incomplete bookings are now cancelled correctly, regardless of how your statuses are configured.
- Custom logos now display properly when creating requests from QR codes.
- Retry room assignment now works correctly for academic bookings in conflict once the conflict has been cleared.
