We’ve made several updates to Mazévo that improve reporting clarity, simplify communication, and give you more visibility into your academic scheduling process. Here’s what’s new.
Analytics – Number of Events Column
Analytics reports that display total bookings will now also include a column showing the number of events those bookings belong to.
Why this matters
Bookings and events are related but not the same thing. This makes it easier to understand the full scope of activity behind your numbers without needing to piece it together manually.
Billing Code Display on the BEO
If an event includes a billing code, it will now automatically appear on the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
Why this matters
This helps your operations and billing teams stay aligned. The information they need is now visible on a document they already rely on, reducing back-and-forth and missed details.
Inquiry Page – Suppress Header and Logo
You can now hide the Mazévo header text and logo on the inquiry page.
Why this matters
This makes it easier to embed the inquiry form directly into your website using an iframe so it feels like a seamless part of your existing experience.
Inquiry Notifications – Now Optional
Inquiry email notifications for event planners are no longer enabled by default. You can now choose to turn them on from the inquiry page settings.
Why this matters
You have more control over notifications. Turn them on when you want planners alerted right away, or leave them off if you prefer to manage inquiries in the Day at a Glance dashboard.
Academic Optimizer – Improved SIS Conflict Handling
When importing courses from your SIS with pre-assigned rooms, Mazévo will now check for conflicts with other imported courses. If a conflict is found:
- A warning icon appears in the new room column
- You can hover to see which course is causing the conflict
- A new conflict filter lets you quickly find all affected courses
Conflicts originating from the SIS are also clearly indicated after processing.
Why this matters
You can quickly identify and resolve issues coming from your SIS data instead of discovering them later. This gives you more confidence in your schedule before it’s finalized.
Academic Book – View Unprocessed Courses
You can now view unprocessed courses in the Academic Book with two options:
- See rooms as assigned in the SIS
- See rooms as assigned by the optimizer
Previously, courses only appeared after the term was published.
Why this matters
You can review and validate your schedule earlier in the process. This helps you catch issues sooner and make better decisions before publishing.
API – Course Import Room Matching Notification
When importing courses through the API, Mazévo will now return a notification if any rooms need to be matched to rooms in Mazévo.
Why this matters
You’ll know immediately if something needs attention during your import process, rather than troubleshooting later.
Fixes
- Resolved an issue where, in some cases, requests could not be completed on mobile devices
