We’ve got some exciting updates in this release that will make reporting, user management, billing, and approvals even smoother. Here’s what’s new:
Better Status Filtering on Reports and Find Events
Mazévo now displays the requester behavior (booked, pending, other, canceled) next to the status on reports and Find Events.
Why this matters: It’s a handy reference that makes it easier to filter for all your Pending or Canceled statuses when running reports.
Security Tags – See Assigned Users
You can now see how many users are assigned to a security tag when editing security tags. Clicking on the number assigned shows you exactly which users are tied to the tag.
New Canceled Status Setting
Administrators can now choose which status to apply when an incomplete request is canceled by the system. This ensures that if a requester doesn’t finish their request, the bookings holding space are canceled with the status you choose. Previously, you could not select the canceled status that was applied.
Improved User Settings Review
Global administrators now see a column that displays which security roles each user has—this also carries over when exporting the list to Excel.
Even better, you can now filter the list of users by multiple roles at once. Previously, filtering was limited to one role at a time.
Room Pricing Information in Event Editor
Room pricing now displays in the popup inside the Event Editor when planners click on a room name. This brings consistency with the room popup available elsewhere in the system.
Filter Day at a Glance by Secondary Approval Status
You can now filter your Day at a Glance list of requests by secondary approval status. This is especially helpful if you manage a large number of approvals. You can also export this filtered list to Excel or PDF.
New Option to Display Setup and Teardown Times on Invoices
If your organization bills customers based on reserved room time (event + setup + teardown), you can now display the full reserved time on invoices.
Why this matters: Previously, invoices only displayed the event time, which sometimes made it difficult to explain billing. Now customers can see exactly what they’re being charged for.
New Save As Option for Published Reports
When editing publishing reports, you now have two options:
- Save: Updates the existing report and returns you to the previous screen.
- Save As: Saves your changes as a new report, leaving the original intact.
Why this matters: This makes it simple to start with an existing report, tweak it, and save it as a new one without starting from scratch.
Published Reports Open in a New Tab
Publishing a report now opens the list of published reports in a new tab, instead of replacing the current one.
Why this matters: If you’re publishing multiple reports with different filters, you won’t need to keep navigating back to the filter page—you can just switch tabs.
Bugs Fixed
- Deleting a user subscribed to a report now works properly in Manage Subscriptions.
- The scroll bar in the Event Book no longer disappears when zoomed out with many rooms displayed.
✅ That’s all for this update! As always, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing how these improvements help streamline your scheduling.
