Here’s what’s new.
New Inquiry Email Notifications
Event planners can now receive an email notification when a new inquiry is submitted through the Mazévo inquiry form.
Previously, planners needed to monitor the dashboard to see if a new inquiry had come in. Now, Mazévo can proactively notify you.
More Consistent Date Picker in Find Events
We updated the Specific Dates date picker in Find Events Standard so it behaves more consistently with other date fields throughout Mazévo.
Set a Default Room Tag in Your Profile
You can now define a default room tag selection for the Event Book in your Profile and Preferences.
Previously, you could only set a default building. That meant every time you logged out and returned to Mazévo, you had to manually reselect your preferred room tag.
Save Views in Find Courses
Find Courses now allows you to save your filter settings, similar to how Find Events works.
Access Favorite Reports from Day at a Glance
When configuring your Day at a Glance dashboard, you can now display links to:
- Favorite Find Events Views
- Favorite Published Reports
Previously, you had to navigate to another screen to access those reports.
Now, your operational dashboard can also serve as your reporting launchpad.
This brings visibility and reporting together in one place, reducing navigation and helping you stay oriented throughout the day.
New Event Coordinator Filter on Service Order Reports
The Service Order Report now includes a filter by Event Coordinator.
Previously, there was no way to isolate service orders tied to a specific coordinator. Now you can quickly generate focused reports for workload review, accountability, or internal coordination.
For managers and directors, this makes it easier to understand who is supporting what.
Secondary Approvers Can View Event Documents
There is now a setting within Secondary Approvals that allows secondary approvers to download and view event documents.
In environments where risk management, contracts, insurance certificates, or supporting documentation are part of the approval process, this ensures approvers have the full context they need.

Special Dates Now Display on Public Event Calendar
Any Special Dates you have defined in Mazévo will now display on the public event calendar.
Previously, these did not appear.
Updated SSO Behavior for Users with Multiple Roles
Mazévo’s Single Sign-On (SSO) behavior has been refined for users who have the Requester role along with additional roles, such as Event Planner or others.
With this update Mazévo will update the Requester security policy through SSO, even if the user also holds other roles. Previously, if a user had the Requester role plus additional roles, SSO would not update the Requester security policy. That limitation has now been removed.
This ensures that Requester security settings stay aligned with your identity provider, while preserving any additional roles assigned within Mazévo.
