Mobile Updates to Operations
New Search Bar
Mobile devices have a new search bar at the top of Operations/Manage Operations to quickly search for bookings by name, contact, organization, or location. Previously, the search bar only appeared if you used Mazévo on a computer.
Booking Status Now Displayed
When you view a booking in Operations/Manage Operations on your phone, you can see the booking's status. Previously, you could only see the booking status if you were on your computer.
Other Updates
New Requester Inventory Issues Report
The Resouce usage report now includes a new option to show Requester Inventory Issues. When someone requests equipment, Mazévo will check to ensure that you have enough available inventory to fulfill their request. If insufficient equipment is available, the request is still submitted, and the requester is notified that all the equipment is unavailable. They can then choose what, if anything, they want to do about that.
This new report allows an event planner to see all the requests made for items in excess of available inventory.
Analytics - Removed Chart for All Option
When running analytics for everything (using the "All" option. i.e., all rooms, resources, etc.) Mazévo will no longer display a chart before displaying the data.
My Approvals - Displays the Booking Status
There is a new status column when viewing the events you must approve. Previously, you could not see the status of the events you were reviewing.
Academic Optimizer - Set Subject and Room Preferences
The optimizer can now use the course's subject to assign courses to a default set of rooms identified by a room tag. Previously, it only assigned courses to rooms in an entire building, not a subset of rooms.
Bugs Fixed
We fixed several issues with this update, including the following.
- My approvals were not consistently sorting the list of approvals in date order.
- My approvals didn't allow you to search on event ID.
- In particular instances, an event planner could add a new event without an associated Organization or Contact.
