Our latest Mazévo Connect session, “Mazévo’s Newest Tools & Tricks —August 2025 Edition,” was packed with information on dozens of new features and enhancements designed to make your job easier. CEO Dean Evans covered a wide range of updates, from small tweaks to major new capabilities.

Next, we've enhanced the automated "we got your order" email that a requester receives after submitting a request. You can now customize the messaging in this email to provide specific guidance, set expectations about a response time, or explain the next steps in the approval process.

Finally, you can now require requesters to enter an expected attendance number. Previously, it was possible for them to accidentally skip this field, creating extra work for your team. Now, you can ensure you get that critical information right from the start.

When communication is automated and precise, policies are followed more consistently, which reduces mistakes. Collect Payments Faster with Billing Improvements

Chasing down unpaid balances and digging through spreadsheets for event details is nobody's idea of a good time. We've heard your feedback and have introduced a powerful set of new billing features to help you speed up payments and get the context you need without leaving Mazévo.

You can now generate and send professional Billing Statements directly to organizations. These statements provide a clear, consolidated view of all outstanding charges and payments, making it easy for your clients to understand their balance and pay promptly.

To help you stay on top of collections, we've also added a new Aging Report. This report gives you an at-a-glance overview of all unpaid invoices, categorized by how long they’ve been outstanding. It's the perfect tool to help you prioritize follow-ups and maintain a healthy cash flow. We've also made several other improvements, including enhanced reporting, to give you the details you need to resolve questions quickly.

How you benefit: With these new features, your staff can issue clear, professional billing statements that reduce disputes and accelerate payments. The aging report makes it easy to manage collections and stay on top of overdue accounts, while more detailed reports provide everyone with the context they need to resolve questions without needing to dig through other systems.

Room Booking Made Easy (With or Without Digital Signs)

How many times does a perfectly good space sit empty simply because the booking process isn't obvious or convenient? We're excited to introduce a new feature that makes ad-hoc room booking easier than ever: printing QR codes.

You can now print the unique QR code for any room directly from Mazévo. Simply post it by the door, and anyone with a smartphone can scan it to instantly see the room's availability and book it on the spot. It offers all the convenience of a digital room sign at a fraction of the cost.

We've also rolled out some updates for those who use our digital room signs. You can now customize the availability wording on the sign to better communicate a room's status, such as "Available for Walk-ins" or "Reserved for Event," to align with your policies. Plus, you can adjust the size of the text display area, which is a big help for those rooms with especially long names.

How you benefit: QR codes deliver affordable, self-service booking that can dramatically boost room utilization. When people can discover and reserve available spaces in real-time, you reduce wasted capacity. This also leads to fewer interruptions for your staff, as users can answer their own availability questions.
